Each year, international artist Eva Dillner does an art calendar featuring her original art. Every year has a different theme. For 2012 it's Z 2 A. Each month shows a new image, this year with quotes from the book, to help you navigate through Z 2 A space and time.

It seems like the whole world is in transition. The old ways are being swept away, to make room for the new. Which isn't here yet. In Z 2 A times we often feel lost, confused and uncertain. Yet the seeds of the future are there. Meditate on the art and the quotes to help you navigate the changes of 2012.

Healing Art 2010 Calendar

The idea for a calendar was born in December 2008 when a close friend’s sister was passing over to the other side. In her room, she had one of Eva’s paintings, to assist her in the process. The friends brainstormed on how they could make their art more accessible to others ... Eva couldn’t let the idea go and before she knew it there was a calendar for 2009. It came out a little late, but thanks to feedback and overwhelming enthusiasm from the inner circle, there are several improvements in the 2010 calendar. The pictures are better thanks to a new camera. Completely new are snippets and stories about each picture, in order to enhance the experience of this healing art.

About the Art of Now…

I’m a writer, artist, therapist and teacher specializing in creative and therapeutic processes for inspiration and transformation. The essence of the art of now is to enter that naturally creative state, where you let go and surrender to what is NOW. When you connect with the spontaneous flow of inspiration you become one with the flow.

There are many ways to reach this state of being, such as meditation, toning, therapy, walks in nature or creative dance. All roads lead to Rome, or in this case to the state of I AM.

Sometimes it feels light, other times dark, it can be big or little, stormy or still. There is a sense of play involved, when you least expect it you’ve created art! I love to experiment with colors, to explore what happens if I use a brush, or why not a sponge, a credit card or my fingers? If emotions bubble up in the now, I paint them…

Let time stand still while you ponder the paintings. Let your eyes rest, let them float through the art, allow yourself to be swept away on a “walkabout” of the mind. The longer you meditate on a painting, the more you will see. All of a sudden it comes alive. What you see is yours to see. Some people experience my art as healing. Some see joy, where others see pain. Some become fascinated with what the image represents. What makes intuitive art so exciting, is that you can get ten different interpretations from ten different people. Try turning the images and discover something new when it’s upside down, or on it’s side…
